i think alot of pple these days is hatin on atlanta period. they makin all the money and pple mad about it. there are alot of down south artist that dont "shake and rock wit it" and they talk about some real shit. but alot off pple listen to underground music but its always pple form the north.

Now everyone hates on atlanta as a whole because we are making money off the dumbest songs ever. The quality of the music down here is just garbage and besides dancing to the music it really has no playback... Sure they get club play but when your outside of the club do you really feel like listening to that shit? Like when you first get up in the morning i won't throw in my chicken noodle soup single....
Now i listen to Southern music but i listen to the good shit or the old shit, Triple six mafia, old school outkast, goodie mob, dungeon family, Oomp camp, pastor troy, ludacris, etc....these new rappers like young joc and young dro and young [insert here] are just making there money off beats and good marketing.

Underground will always be better than mainstream. Most mainstream rappers are underground at some point in there careers and usually put out better music when they were underground because they were hungrier

i never once hated on there money making or there hustle, i hate on the music they put out and i think as a consumer i have the right to do that. IF i dont like it i wont buy there cd's but hearing that shit on the raido 24/7 just completely killed it for me....i dont even have a raido in my car because of it.
I have nothing against southern rappers at all, i just feel like people from the south dont respect northern music as much as people from the north respect that southern shit.

Hold on a second, leader of the Funky Bunch. Everyone knows that hip hop originated in NY. No dispute. But just because most original legends and the root of it is in NY, doesn't mean that NY will always contain the best lyricists in the country.
