if your a movie company. and you see that by end of year lets say at most 100,000 HD dvd players sold.. and around 700,000 blu-ray ps3 + 50,000 maybe blu-ray standalones.. what would u make a movie for?
you need to check your sources again b/c HD DVD is already ahead they have sold out in most retailers b/c of the low price (ebay as low as 300 / best buy 499). toshiba was reported taking a loss of 200$ per unit; which is just how xbox has broken into the gaming world so fast. xbox is releasing their HD setup for xmas for 199$ and they have over 5 million units sold as June; which means 5+ million possible people for HD upgrade \/
