Import Tuner Challenge Review
well i went out and bought the game today....and over all not that bad. The customizing seem spretty accurate, and very detailed about. Car selection is very very small only i think 12-15 cars! Racing is all the same either point to point or just run till you lose the other person. But basically its like a very done Juiced. But its a good racing game that will last until NFS Carbon comes out!
to bad its only for the 360..

u have to ubnlock cars too, i hope u havent unlocked all of them and theres only 15.
no base cars that you can modi believe there is onlu 15, but you unlock custom cars that are made ready to go! but they have a good selection and over all tis pretty realisitic in terms of performance and looks!

well i have it i like it for the simple fact theat its tokyo extreme racer but better handling graphics and more contollable drifts thats the pros so far the cons is that it might be short i haven't had it for a full day and i have already concoured the ci inner and ci outer oh yeah and one more thing there is different times of day like morning/day night and midnight
well ill keep u guys posted as to how long of a game it is

DUDE FAR FROM SHORT.....trust me you may think you have conqured them but you are in for a big surprise.....theres 5 total areas to go to, so the more areas the more teams you haev come out....i have probably played for about 20 hours and only gotten 29% of the racers defeated....its a very long game!

lol well i started witht eh Silvia....then upgraded to the Z33 Fairlady....now i am using the 4 door STI!!!! <---- that STI is fucking crazy....and looks wicked.....just need more money to finish the weight mods and suspension!!!!
But to give a good idea on how long this game is....i started playing at 6pm tonight at 27% done, and jsut finished a few minutes ago(unlocking the final stage(i think)) and am at 47%
well to give an idea as to how fast i am i got it yesterday and as of right now i am at 27% rivals defeated and all with the sivia i have a skyline but as u know the parts are expensive

it bothered the shit outta me when i played tokyo 3 and all the cars just got better as you did no matter what order you went in
well yes and no....they arent set by power rating but you find them by time of day...and its not always the case that there car may be faster, this game comes down to settings and how well you can drive...i mean i have had some races where its a quick and easy one, then others where the more is sitting in my bumper the whole way so....

The acceleration aspect of this game is mostly bullshit. I guess its made so all cars can be in competitive range of each other... but saying a radiator and oil cap add horsepower, a rx-8 stock can keep up with every other car, etc. is crap.
However... being able to mess around with the suspension, LSD, and gear ratio's is a plus. I started with the 180sx, then bought a Supra, reloaded the game after seeing the Supra can't turn worth a damn, and bought a bnch of suspension stuff for the 180sx. The car's slower than 100% of the cars in the game in a straight line, but through turns is where I make the pass and try to maintain the lead. It leads to more fun gameplay using a slower car instead of immediately upgrading to the most power.

no i beat it as well, about a week and a half ago, and traded it in for Forza, and down-payment on Forza 2....also i dont now about the Eccl, being crap. The RX-8 was the slowest car in that game....if you bought one stock and where keeping up with things...then your games messed up. There wa only one rx8 in that game that gave me any trouble and that was a boss car!
well he did'nt give me trouble but i had one parts up all the way and lost horribly to the rolling gal car
