the saints played with heart....we got outplayed, plain and simple. the falcons are a damn good team and i think we will still have a great season...to be honest, the saints would have beat any team you put on that field last night....they had too much heart.

We got outplayed, period. The Falcons did not look good, but I think ANY team would've gotten beat last night by the Saints. Falcons couldn't convert, couldn't catch, couldn't kick, couldn't run as they should....you can't win playing like that against even the worst team in the league let alone someone playing the Saints last night.
BTW, I also agree with QD and Leisa....the damn Katrina commentary every two secs was a bit much. If I wanted to listen to that, I'd gone and watched the Spike Lee movie myself.
I think they were grinding it in to justify to everyone why the Dome got finished and back up running in record time while the majority of the city is still FUBAR.......

They did try running the ball, but the line was very ineffective in holding back the Saints. No running room at all.

did yall know this is Vick's first loss EVER against the saints?? everybody talks about how its a great rivalry, but up until last night, the falcons have owned the saints. i personally think carolina is a bigger rival now, at least carolina has won a few now
p.s. i cant wait to see how the saints do against carolina next week with steve smith back, that boy came back last game and caught 116 yds...like he was never gone lol
