We've been having a discussion about this on Sherdog forums, and it's all very subjective. In particular the whole "which martial artist hits harder" question. It's not so cut and dry. It depends on the fighter and beyond that, your striking isn't as powerful when you're hitting a dummy that's not moving, or hitting back for that matter. A lot of people don't realize how much your offense changes when it's time to use it in a real situation. I would take a lot of what they say with a grain of salt. There's a bunch of variables that need to be taken into consideration, but it's interesting nonetheless. Either way, if it's gets you back into training, then it did a good thing!
