Outkast - Idlewild!!!

my take is....outkast will never go back to the old school outkast, because theyve done it already...they bring a different style on every album, and thats what keeps me listening. thats what sets them apart from everybody else out there. their albums always take a while to start gettin used to and to like, but i started liking this one almost right away...the beats are catchy and the skits are pretty funny too, specially the intro LOL. the only tracks that i absolutely do not like are 17 and 25. but thats 2 tracks out of 25 that are bad, so i just enjoy the music and take it for what it is....good music

i think your missing it though. all i said was im not feeling it like the old days. its not them thats expanding. its dre. if you listen to PRA then you know boi sounds the same still, its dre wanna be singin and all this other stuff. again i dont mind that but i think we will see another goodie mob before long. im just hopin boi stays in the atl unlike gip who is now doin shit with ali of the st. lunitics. lets be honest mighty o was the first track they have done together since 2000. thats six years and a solo album later and they only do 1 track out of 25 together. i know it will never be salmin cadilac doors days again but i just wish they would do more tracks together.

i understand what youre sayin, but when i said every album is different i was referring to the beats mainly. they keeps it fresh. and there is more than one track on there with them together...u should listen to it more.

i did listen to it. ok so hollywood got both on it but thats a compolation track with other artists. not like they all get their own verse. they just spit a few bars and on to the next person. pj and rooster has both but dre is singing hooks and bridges and such.
