    maybe it was just the theater but i didn't feel it all that much. story was so-so and felt a little choppy and dragged out in places. action was ok but nothing that breathtaking. and in the end, i felt too much effort was expended on setting the stage for the next movie instead of concentrating on this one right now.

    ^^ hmm, still, non the less is was badass - alot of charachter development for one thing, and twists galore. I mean dayum. I loved it. KRAKENNN!!!1

    P.S. - who stayed till after the credits?

    ^^ lol the ending pissed me off. I hate it when a movie leaves you hanging - but man, it was overkill. So many freaking questions in my mind left unaswered, which will come about in the 3rd installment. BUT I DONT WANNA WAIT TWO YEARS!

    it wont be another 2 years, they have been filming the 3rd one since before the trailer even came out for this one, so it shouldnt be too long. and after the credits isnt that great, just shows that dog that they left on the island...sitting on a throne with a bone in his mouth...

    looked it up earlier today and it looks like may 07 from all the stuff i read...wish it was more like christmas 06 though...that was def. an ending that left me hanging...

    i was not impressed w/ the film... i say 3/5 it was avg.... CGI was amazing Davi Jones and crew were great, but i wasn't impressed w/ Jack... he wasn't as funny in this film, the funniest guys were the two pirates one w/ glass eye... it was kinda slow at times and developed pretty slow. good thing i was a buffer film b/c it would of sucked if it was anything else. i think the director could of focused more on the actual story then dialog then the film would of been alot better. the 3rd movie better be good.

    i dont' know buffer films can still be good Kill Bill vol1, LOTR: Two Towers, Empire Strikes Back, Matrix Reloaded, etc... they just better hurry the fuck up i don't want to wait for next summer to see the 3rd
