First off I would like to say that.............this whole T.I v Ludacris thing is opinion. You can't say T.I is the best because everybody doesn't like T.I and you can't say Ludacris is the best because everybody doesn't like Ludacris. Now as far as street cred is concerned. Com'on be serious, street cred is honestly nothing but the respect that ppl have for you, THATS IT. It doesn't mean that you can't get your wig slpit. I got street cred. Street cred doesn't necassarily mean that you have done a damn thing close to being so called gansta. The mob is gangsta, they kill ppl. You might have done some petty crimes, but thats it. Do you think for one second that these cats that say they have moved hundreds of bricks would really be rapping. BMF was moving hundreds of bricks a month and did you notice how big they were living. What would be the point of rapping. You don't start making serious money till you hit multiplatinum and even then you not straight. You have to keep doin those types of numbers. Out of a 10 million dollars artist probably see about 2.5 and then they have expenses that have to be paid for. And as far as T.I being the king of the south, Ummmm........you have OUTKAST, Goodie Mob, Scarface (he did say that he didn't mind T.I using the title but really, would you put T.I over him), UGK, Three six, and 8 Ball & MJG. What about them.....did they not make a serious impact on the south's music. Artist like T.I are just reaping from there work, not to take away from the work he is putting in. But you have to be able to differentiate what is supposedly REAL TALK from REAL LIFE...........Real talk I been to jail i aint scared of jail, I done sold a lot of keys.................Real LIFE People are scared of prison especially Fed time, If you are moving weight you are not running your mouth about it, T.I was caught with 3 kilos of cocaine do you think he was tryin to go to jail for that. If i had a oz of cocaine i would not get as much time as someone who had a half in crack. REAL LIFE........And what makes a rapper real is it because he talks about the streets, or is it because he being true to self and what make him a man.
