yep game got rained out...... double header on sep. 2.....looks like we might actually want the mets to win and keep beating these other teams that are infront of us in the wild card.....13.5 back from them, but that means sh*t once everyones in the playoffs...so hopefully the braves can pull off the wild card spot

mets won again. looks like el duque pulled his head out of his ass after the first inning and played amazing. delgado added a hit or do and X blasted one out of their. the grand slams in the past 2 weeks keep on coming right along with the wins. the braves are done for and wont even make the playoffs. francouer and their younger generation of players hasnt turned out as well this year as it did last year. smoltz could be gone soon and i dont blame him, glavine and maddux left. wickman isnt going to save their team, he will provide some strength in the bullpen, but most people would take billy wagner anyday. omar minayu has done a fantastic job organizing this team and if the mets end up aquiring someone like zito or schmidt that just makes them more unstobbable. there driver fucker, there is some real baseball talk, not just shit.

ok, yea the mets are on fire right now, but there playing below .500 ballclubs. They are def. not unstoppable by any mean. Francouer is doing just fine now, he has 19 HR and 69 RBIs. How is that bad? yea he started out slow but hes doing just fine now. Smoltz is still picthing great and isnt going any where. He left the game with a lead in 5 different games this season and the bullpen blew it(hence his record not being great). But he is also doing just fine. The mets have a good team, but they are no where near unstoppable. The braves are only 5 back from the wildcard and have a really good chance of making it to the playoffs(which is all that matters). It dosnt matter what your record is in the playoffs. Everyone has a "fresh" start. I think the team with the best record should have home feild advantage instead of the all star game deciding. oh yea the mets lost yesterday

I was suprised that Hernandez performed in this game. The past few games he didn't show up for them. He had something like 1 inning or so against the Cubs, but today he gets the win. It seems the Braves are getting relief help aquiring Baez and Wickman, but need to get some bats now.
yep, they need to get the bats going again, andruw had like 5 strikeouts yesterday, and chipper just went on the DL. Not looking good for the braves now. They finally helped out their bullpen but now are going to have a hard time getting runs. I went to the game yesterday and am going today. My dads season tickets are right next to the braves dugout and let me tell u, the braves just look beat. Yesterday they werent showing any effort to win. LaRoche was kicking the dirt and catching it in his glove when hudson was in the middle of his windup! Gonna be hard for the braves to pull it out this year but hopefully they can do it.
