    he was ridin his hyabusa(sp) and he crashed, he broke his jaw, i think nose, lacerations to his knees, bunch of cuts and bruises and chipped and loss teeth, i cant find a story on it on espn.com for some reason

    i dont about career ending, they havent told alot about it, but yeah, he was talkin about he dont wear a helmet cause is PA its not the law

    sports center said it was going to be a 7 week injury and he would be back for part of training camp

    yeah, i dont feel too bad for him, they had an interview with him about it last year, and he came off cocky about not hving to wear one, lots of ppl, including his coach and terry bradshaw was tellin him to be carefull, terry bradshaw was syain to put the motorcycle away all together

    I've been a Steeler fan ever since I could say "football". As a Steeler fan I must say, this was one of the dumbest things in Steeler history. Big Ben is paid millions to play a sport where protective head gear is mandatory but, he felt it this same head gear wasn't necessary while riding a motorcycle. I just don't get it. I know PA doesn't have a helment law but, being that motorcycle riders have very little to protect them against injury as it is, not using gear to protect your skull just seems silly to me. I hope he pulls through with as few complications as possible then, I hope his career is salvageable. Hopefully, this will help him see the protection helmets provide on his bike is more valuable than the "freedom" of riding without it.

    he should feel blessed he didn't become a statistic or a vegetable by being too cool to wear a helmet. i think it's downright silly to not wear a helmet on a bike, but i guess common sense is a little too much for a foosball player these days... they're not paid to think .

    Busa? when i saw the wreckage on the news, the bike only had one exhaust on the right side. He also said in his interview that he doesnt ride crotchrockets. I dont think it was a busa he wrecked on, but it was def. not a cruiser or chopper...

    they said there was 25ft skid marks before he even hit the car, then the bike slid at least that far after he did hit it

    i personally think it's funny the shit that's up for sale already on ebay like the ben toothlessberger tshirts and the collectors edition rothlisberger helmets (it's an empty box, lol).
