This is probably one of the most powerful films I have ever seen. It really hits you hard and makes you appreciate everything in life. I strongly reccomend you see this film, it is incrediable. It is all based on reali life audio footage and real life account. It is also amazing because they do not make it a pro american film or biased in any way, shape or form. Just a type of film that shows how it was. This film was top notch in my book and will touch everyone's hearts. You will leave the theater feeling like you were hit by a brick wall, but you will begin to appreciate everything you have in your life. A+++++++.

It's a fictious based movie...no survivor was able to tell them EXACTLY what happened, it's all hersay from about 5mins of recorded calls. No one knows exactly if the people did rise againest and got into the cockpit, or if the terrorists knew people were trying to take over and just plowed it into the ground. Who knows if they used butterknives or boxcutters or a straight razor. Did they find the weapons used in the wreckage? No. I'm sorry, you can all feel moved and all but this movie is just something hollywood dished out to make a dollar. Like I said before, it got consent from the family members because their loved ones are being shown as brave americans, and who doesnt want their family member remebered as someone who was brave and stood up to the terrorists. Again, we dont know if that actually happened...it was just in a phone call....hell, I can tell someone on the phone that I'm in Hawaii...does it make it true?

the movie looks almost as lame as the over dramatized show on the Discovery Channel. i still find it all fishy that these guys were all over the phones calling people but none of the other planes had phone calls when hijacked?

I remebered that, they had all those commericals that hyped it up for like 2 weeks, and then it airs and was probably the lamest thing I ever saw. Never answered any questions, it was just regurgitated shit everyone already knew, except it had some CGI effects.

You know I'll probably end up watching it as well....BUT I'm going to be taking EVERYTHING with a grain of salt. 99% of all movies that I watch I do the same, because it's all a form of entertainment....anyways...there's really no debate...the writers and directors have commented on how it's still just a "movie"

I said they based the film off of audio footage that had and real life accounts from the phone calls that family memebers recieved. Your right, nobody knows 100% what happened, but based on the footage they had, they tried to create a movie around it. Of course they had to put in their own material to fill gaps that were unknown. I was not trying to call you out, just venting about a movie that is not factual and it should not portray the emotional baggage of the people. You cannot make a movie that is 111mins long out of a total of 5mins worth of phone calls. I'll see the movie, but I can promise you that it will not change my mind....I know that these people dont know what happened, I know that the families of the victims who supported and helped make this movie do not know what happened, this movie is is just creating a false story for everyone to believe, and there are way too many people in the US who are weaked minded and will believe whatever they see.

How is that different than most things in history. You never know the story 100%, you only know the propaganda that the government wants you to know. Or how about the bible, how do you know it is based on facts and just not a big piece of propaganda. Again, I am strictly giving you something to think about, not saying I feel this way. I have taken a ton of propaganda classes at Georgia State Univ and you would be EXTREMLY surprised how much BS we are fed to glorify certain political people and historical events, that are not based on factual evidence either. Therefore, how would this movie/ depiction be any different then any other BS we are fed. 1/2 of the history of the US we are taught in school is BS and not based on fact but what the government chooses to tell you. Check out the book "Lies My Teacher Told Me 'Everything your American History Textbook Got Wrong'", you will be shocked to read some of the info in that book. Just something to think about.

Most movies are not based of somekind of event that happened. They are fictious stories created in the minds of numerous writers or sometimes even one. You also have movies that are based of books, many of which are sci fi. Every now and then you will have a movie based off certain events that have taken place. Even the ones that have survivors who have an first hand account of what happened, "hollywood" will jazz it up a bit to make it more exciting to make more money. Let's just take the movie Pearl Harbor for instance "Doolittle's Raid" after the attack on Pearl Harbor was highly glamorized. Most the planes that crash landed in China the crews were killed upon impact, and the one crew that did survive hid at a missionary...they never encountered enemy and had a firefight like the movie pointed out. U-571, the German Uboat...no one ACTUALLY knows what happened....just mostly hersay, yet they can make a movie about it on how each character personified themselves? Anything hollywood dishes out, it for entertainment purposes only.

As for the Govt, I actually think it's good that there are secrets that the everyday people dont know about. It's not good to tell all the people about every little thing we do. Some people wouldn't know how to handle it. For instance....you and I both know, though it's never been directly told to us, that we will torture a prisoner for information. Why? enemies do it to our soldiers. Is it inhumane? probably. But this person, is your enemy, an enemy to our country, who tried to kill you and would not hesitate to do it again. Extreme measures have to be taken for the sake of our national security. Granted there are things the govt should not mislead us on, but that's a whole other story.

My uncle was in the airforce at the time of the attacks. He's heard first hand that we shot down 93. Also, that 9/11 conspiracy video that was floating around on the net "claims" that you can't make cell phone calls from cruise altitude, but they aren't sure what altitude the plane was at when the calls were made. Judging from the lack of debris at the "scene of the crash" I would have to say that a missle was involved. That's my opinion anyway.

there are so many conspiracy theories that are floating around...you know what, I'll throw my opinnion down on it. To kill the passengers aboard United 93 to save 100's on the ground, then it's warranted. A plane crashing into any public building is gonna kill and injure much more than just the passengers on the flight itself. It's a shitty situation, but you have to look at the overall picture. Some might have to die in order to spare many more. But, I dont think it was shot down at all. I've gotten signal on my cell phone from cruising altitudes when I flew from here to Cali.
