Good RPG's for ps2

any games you can suggest

the Metal Gear series isn't RPG but I think you might enjoy them.

Yeah, i think teh last ff i played was with the one going back in time, with the Aarian (sp) and some otha folks, i think it was 9 or 10, i forget, it was years ago while my liscense was suspended LIRL

If you haven't played FFVII then you gotta play that one... it's the best one ever... I also really like FFVIII. I'm sure there's some more good ones out there, but as a general rule FF > all other console RPGs.

i think i skipped 9, the one with the lil kids and played 10 with the one where you in that village, and you can play that oen soccer like game?

I can't remember the dudes name, but 8 is the one the main guy has the gunsword and it's kind of western themed but not very... I can't remember his name... most people regard it as one of the "worst" (if you can call any FF that) FF games for ps... but I thought it was pretty bad ass heh.

Eh... it's ok as long as you dont go into the game expecting it to be anything similar to Final Fantasy... cause it's not... nothing like the Final Fantasy series.

LOL FFVII was the ultimate game, soon as you beat you can restart it that same day you beat it. But i agree i never did like number 8 but 9 to me was right up there with 7, i played 9 countless times, and it just game a new fill to the game to me.

yeah and i think it had a DAM good plot line. ALso there was lots of sid quests to do in that game that made it real fun.

but if you want soem real fun games to play that you can play over nad over again and with friends, i recommend the Acecombat Games!

thats the thing, im tryna stay home when im bored from nwo on, i usuallyd rive around when im bored and i dont feel like paying all this money for gas when i can play a good game.
i got alot of milti player games, i just want a solo one.
i might check out ff9, i never thought it would be fun, but i guess it might be

THis one is a better one becuase its alot of thigns where you dont really have a complete main char you thing kinda jumps around whn your party spilts up. I recommend you play it i think it had a great plot line and wa an interesting spin on the FF series!

no pretty much the main theme is you being Zidane being the hero, chasing after the princess Garnet. But its cool how your partys sometimes split up and you play two or three different rea at one time, makes the game fun!

if you really wanna go back you should try FF 6 for SNES(or the PS remix) and Chrono Trigger...that was Squaresoft at its finest

oh and Super Mario RPG was the shit!, too bad they dont have a remake to that

Depending on if you like strategy style RPGs, I could recommend the following:

Final Fantasy Tactics (PS1, but good stuff)
Disgaea
Makai Kingdom
Suikoden Tactics
Harvest Moon: Back to Nature (PS1 version. The PS2 version sucks)

If none of you guys have ever played Harvest Moon, then you need too.

Yes, it's a farming game.
Yes, it's an RPG.
Yes, it does seem really gay when you first look at it.

But Holy Hell this game is addictive as crack. Build a farm, plant crops, raise animals, expand your house, get married, have a kid, go to festivals, and do side tasks all in a family-fun environment.
