    Default Public Golf Courses?

Well, I am just wondering if any of you guys know of some good public golf courses that aren't a ripp off. I have really only played at River Pines, the Par 3 Course they have. I've played on an 18 Hole course once before, but it was with a friend who was a member, so I only paid 15 bucks. Are there any decent courses you guys know of?

Bobby Jones Golf Course in Atlanta...I think I paid like $35. It was okay...the greens were a little rough....the grass was really matted down, but for $35 cant complain too bad.

The Hooch in Duluth, I think I paid like $45 or so....it was okay, but a short 18 hole course.

You can play the par 3 course at Peachtree Fun center which is right next door to The Hooch.

There's also Candler Park golf course. I havent played that one, but I drive by every now and then it looks okay.

just goto yellowpages.com to look up their numbers for tee times.

I havn't played in almost a year, due to I broke my wrist in a car wreck. I went to the range the other day, I need some practice to say the least. It's definately a fun game though.

A favorite public course of mine on the cheap is Little Mountain right on the Henry and Dekalb county border. From Atlanta you would get off of I20 onto Wesley Chapel/Snapfinger, turn left onto Snapfinger which is hwy 155 and follow it until you see the sign on the left. It plays around Panola Mountain, has some nice views. It's a fairly short course but has a few difficult holes. They added onto the original course so now they have a seperate nine hole course that is actually 10 holes and then the 18 hole course. It's nice to be able to play either 10 or 18 and have a seperate course. For the money they keep it in good shape and it's a fun course with a good chance to put up a decent number. IF you call info for the number it is listed in Decatur btw.

well, i've only played the par 3 course, it was fun for me but i'm just starting to learn how to play. It would be really simple for those who have some decent skill. They have a really big practice range, which is pretty nice.

legacy is a fun course to play at. The Marshalls at Fox Creek are assholes, so i would advise to go to Legacy and not Fox Creek (they are literally right next to each other)
