You guys all make valid points. But like i said before weather you hate gunit or not there the most dominant rap crew floating around right now and for the pass 4-5 years. You might not think so due to there lyrics or persona but the only thing on paper we got is fucking album sales. No other rap group is selling as much as them so that would make them on top ...hate it or love it.

And gunit has been out for so long, people are just getting bored of them. Not that there music is losing playback and quailty, its just they have been on top for what......4 years now? without anyone being able to phase them besides the game (fellow gunit member)

1) The massacre has sold 10+ millon copies worldwide.....Dud???? I dont think so....it was the best selling rap album of the year......

2) alot of people think tony yayo is crap..but the man is the grimiest gunit member....he spits fire if you respect the style...the only reason he didnt go platnium was 3 reasons

a) Hurricane katrina same week his album dropping
b) Droppin his album the same week as kayne west "bush hates black people"= Lots of media coverage and buzz
c) Do to his probation and legal issues he was forced to push his album back about 7 months

3) You guys are forgeting about mobb deep. If your going to talk shit about the mobb please dont bother posting in the music section anymore....

4) When gunit signed mase, m.o.p, and mobb deep they just gained another millon or so fans. Because these fools have a pretty built and stable fanbase.

5) I could care less what anyone has to say, it wont stop me from listening to gunit because they put out hits consistently......find me a consistent rap group nowadays

6) mark my words........Gunit will outsell the rap industry again in 2006

That's one of the reasons they are losing it. Another being the fact that they are getting ripped on by others and are getting known for being soft. They weren't on top for 4 years. I give them a couple, but certainly not 4.

The only thing keeping Mobb Deep from going completely under is something I heard about yesterday. 50 Cent is letting Mobb Deep do everything their own way. So it will be Mobb Deep, it won't be a shitty 50-laced record.

It has been told that Mase isn't really on G-Unit. He is still under contract by Bad Boy. Either way, he is washed up.

Me personally, I am not trying to sway you. It's good that you have a group you like. Not a lot of people like Eazy E. I am a huge E fan. But I can admit when Eazy sucks. He put out an assload of hits, but he wasn't doing it consistently. G-Ushit isn't either.
