They did great maxing out their potential. JJ and Crawford finally truly returned from injury and our depth appeared to be too much for GS. The officials did a great job keeping them close, but true talent typically prevails.

So you think the Clippers will shoot 51% the whole series from 3? They made 15 3 pointers man, that was the difference. If you watched the game, RW didnt guard CP3 that much, they mixed in KD, Thabo, etc. Barkley even called it, RW didnt play defense, he cheated on screens, and CP3 made him pay. Then he would go right back the other way and score. Problem is , it was usually against Collison when he was in because CP3 would switch if they had to.
the real reason Clippers did well? IMO it was Durant. Durant didnt punish Barnes in the post, and the OKC shooters could hit a 3. They had so many wide open looks they couldnt hit. Then ,they did what you said they do BADLY, which is play Hero Ball.
The funny thing is this series may come down to Doc vs Brooks. Brooks ive always thought was inept. Hes got Lamb and Perry Jones but refuses to use them unless its garbage time. They have to find another outlet to score points when the Clippers are shooting like that. Or play defense.
Clippers wont shoot that way again so if im OKC i dont feel that bad.

Houston is better than GSW, sorry. They have a better inside out game. But they problem with both Houston and Portland is they dont stay honest on Defense, neither do the WArriors.

1. Harden and Curry don't just = out. IDK WTF you've been watching. You can make a argument of Curry being the greatest shooter to ever play in the NBA. His ball handling is second to none and causes just as much of a offensive problem as a player like durant. So let's stop making crazy comments. Harden isn't on the same level as Curry. But who cares? They are both at home and not good enough to advance against better competition.
2. The grizz and the spurs are the ONLY teams in the WEST that would HONESTLY give the clippers problems. Both for completely different reasons. The grizzlies because of gasol and randolph's PAST dominant play against blake and DJ. The spurs because they are just as deep as us.
1. Westbrook's points were garbage points against bench defenders. He took OVER when the game was OVER. His problem is he think's by trying to "out score" Paul that he can somehow win the " personal battle"

They have been out of the first round, shows you haven't been watching. Even with a terrible coach.
Let's see how the scorer "MVP" does against a COMPLETE superstar. Offensively AND defensively. Not just standing at three point line waiting to take a long contested shots.
They both aren't good enough to be in the second round and are irrelevant to us now. GSW had twice the injures houston had. Bogut and Iggy missed a chunk of this season.
Same with us, we were a game behind OKC. Paul missed 18 games and OKC plays better without Westbrook. So imagine if they both were healthy all season. We would have home court. But its fine, we are too deep for them and play as a team with a unselfish PG.

I do NOT THINK CP3 is the game changing superstar everyone thinks he is. I think hes a GREAT PLAYER, but hes like Melo, hes got all the talent in the world around him, yet we keep making excuses for why they cant get to a conference finals, or our of the first round. CP3 has been probably the most dynamic PG we have seen in a long time. a TRUE PG, that can pass, shoot, handle, etc. But, hes really come up short in the playoffs when it matters, especially with the talent around him. If you think every team in the NBA wouldn't want Paul as their PG you are mistaken. Coach Pop has already said Paul was better than Parker and doc already has stated he's never seen an on ball defender like Paul in his NBA career. Keep watching my friend, this is gonna be hard for you to watch.....
OKC doesn't play defense..... we have shot well against them all the times we have beaten them in the last 3 seasons.... the last two times we have walked in their building we have put up 125 and 122. They can't stop us, only way they win is if we miss the open shots they've always given us......
