For a long time, NASCAR was dominated by money and the best car. For all the credit Richard Petty gets...... the cars were no where near as even then as they are now. Johnson will most likely lock up his 6th championship in 7 years after today's race. He was in position to win the championship last year before blowing a tire and crashing in the 2nd to last race of the season.
