The team he has poured his heart and soul into has not shown him any love....That the Patriots way. Besides Tom Brady you are just a number ..and I get that its a business...however when moves like this happen why would you be suprised....he went to the team that gave him some cash...the patriots offered him 3 mill less....You would leave to...

"the patriot way" is why the patriots are the patriots. If Wes Welker didnt drop the catch that would have won the superbowl.... i doubt they would be having so much trouble offering him the contract he wants.

Welker is a slot receiver that benefits from the QB , TE , and WR packages. He did jack shit in Miami. Hes a great talent, but hes getting old, and his quickness is fading.

Yeah but for this year they were trying to pay him HALF of that...if I was a player i would say hell no too....pay me my money....football is a very violent sport in which careers end much quicker...

and Wes is equal to Roddy IMO and much better then Santonio.....and I am a falcons guy so.....
