I had the Spurs in 7, but, after going for broke last night, I dont know how they come back with enough in the tank to do it. Timmmmay better do some PEDs before the game. They had that game IN THE BAG, and let it slip away. Two CLUTCH 3s (the main one being RAY RAYs).

Bad substitutions down the stretch IMO by POP.

If Miami wins this series, Ray Allen was the best off season acquisition of any team last summer

THIS is why i love the NBA 1000x more then football. To taste a championship, and feel like the world fell on your head and lose the game. AND get the opportunity to seize the championship again, nothing better then seeing how a team responds. no hail mary, tiped pass, fumble shit...... earn a championship!! 4 wins and youre a champion!

i took the spurs in this series, i have to stick to what i said..... ..... but like i said, win win for me. spurs win i get $, miami wins and my boi wade gets a 3rd ring! good either way, lol
The refs gave miami the title last year. I believe that 100%.....

this year hasnt been the case... probably because last year was so obvious that they needed to take the heat off themselves. Pun intended.

Clippers arent getting Doc, no chance....

Would you really be happy about that trade? two young talents for a coach and an old player? KG is great.... but unless the clips think they can win a title next year its pointless to trade for him. Only benefit of that trade is if it keeps Chris Paul in town....

I dont expect Chris Paul to stay in LA.... he might be on his way to a team where you can watch him in person.

The Clippers deal is expected to be announced today. Inside sources say that CP3 told FO that if they got Doc he would 100% guarantee he would resign. Doc also said he wouldnt come to LAC without CP3 being there, he wants to coach CP3.

    The deal is done.

2 first round picks + DJ for Doc and KG. Sure PP is to follow

If i owned the clippers and CP3 told me he would resign if i did X.....

I would say "who do you think you are? Tony Parker?"

i dont like the idea of players dictating personnel decisions.... especially players with no rings.

LMAO, only someone like you would be upset at a PREMIER superstar in the game FINALLY getting the coach him and his team deserves. Tony parker has had the best coach in the nba for the better part of the last 10 years. Doc WANTS to coach cp3, and he most likely will. Shit is about to get real in the western conference

GREAT deal!! DJ doesnt protect the rim anyway and can't hit a jumpshot to save his life! KG combined with the young skill players/vets of the clippers plus DOC means a real contender. FINALLY CP3 won't have to play Tony Parker (HOF player), Manu G (HOF player), Tim Duncan (best PF in history), and Coach Pop (top 5 coach in nba history) BY HIMSELF ANYMORE!

tony parker doesn't have to. he has the best coach in the nba. send him to the bobcats and see what happens........(which is what the clippers were before paul came there)

I'm not upset about Paul going to a good team or having a good coach..... just annoyed at his methods of acquiring it. This is nothing new..... i hate Lebron for the same reasons.

Tony Parker plays for the team who drafted him. Plays for the coach of that team and plays with the players that the team chose to put around him. The spurs players made the spurs the spurs..... Pop is the best coach because he has players who buy into his system.... if Tim Duncan had the personality of Rasheed Wallace..... you might not think Pop was the best coach in the NBA. The spurs are the spurs because of Parker, Duncan, Ginobili... because of the culture they created. These team jumping primadonnas like Dwight Howard keep complaining about their team and coaches.... maybe they are the reason for their teams lack of character or their coaches ability to coach. A humble superstar like Duncan empowers the coach..... he leads by example and the players follow. The same thing happens with bad players.... they rebel against the system and make excuses.... and their team follows. That is why it annoys me when you act like it's a video game and you can just plug Paul into Parker's place.... you cant measure chemistry.....

I like(d) Paul.... but im starting to like him a lot less now that he thinks he's the clippers GM..... lead by example.... quit making excuses.

The problem I have with CP3 is he seems like its a "everybody elses" fault. Hes basically selling his teammates out to get the coach HE wants. Dont blame him for wanting to play with Doc, but to do it so publicly............

He knew who the coach was with LAC. VDN isnt a BAD coach, he just couldnt coach a team built full of 1 on 1 players. The clippers were explosive when it was run and gun. But they had no halfcourt offense. I said it all year. Playoffs slow down. You can stop CP3, when you have no real SG, and your big men have NO outside shooting ability.

Getting KG will space the floor. Which will allow Griffin to play to his strengths......dunking.

From his style of play and the way he carries himself on the floor. I haven't seen 1 single ounce of "its everybody elses fault". He plays unselfish and plays selfish when need be. The only thing we know is, he got onto blake griffin for being "too soft" and letting randolph "bully and dominate him"..... which is what your superstar should do when he see's a talent like BG. Their lack of paint presence (offense AND defense) killed them, you can't blame cp3 for being upset, not everyday a PG gets to play with a player like duncan.

Even if they don't get doc, george karl is a damn good choice. Byron scott too..... im not sure i would want to play for brian shaw though. first time coach ummmm idk.

David Robinson and Tim Duncan are the creators of spurs culture...... had either of them been rebels, that would have carried over to the players. Pop cannot exist without a player like Duncan............... Duncan allows himself to be held accountable for his mistakes..... he leads the way in taking responsibility and putting team first. His team follows.

Chris Paul blames the coach, blames the team.. blames everything else..... and that personality trait is going to follow him no matter what team he plays for. When you allow anyone to complain, you allow everyone to complain.

I Dont think a player with NO RINGS should dictate who his coach should be. just my .o2.

The Clippers had their best season in franchise history, VDN had nothing to do with it?I agree VDN wasnt THEIR coach of the future, but to sell him out is kinda crappy. So what happens when they get Doc and get bounced out of the first round next year? Trade Blake? Trade..................?

Publicly meaning its being reported that he is the one that told the Clippers FO to reopen negotiations with the celtics. All major media outlets are reporting it.

Just like D12, you dont have to go on ESPN to make it "public"

They fired VDN because CP3 didnt want him, they are pursuing this crazy BOS trade because CP3 said "do it or im not resigning". Reports earlier this year were that he wanted an input on roster moves in the offseason.

rings has nothing to do with anything. if you dont wanna play with a soft PF and you're a free agent. you have the option to leave.

if the front office asks you what can they do to keep you and you respond. so what? if you asked me what i would've said it would've been my honest opinion. our coach is toooo predictable and doesn't adjust in game. and our "big man" is soft as a bag of pillows. if you don't like it then let him leave and go wherever he wants.

the fact remains he wants a ring..... NOT EVERYBODY IS BLESSED TO PLAY UNDER COACH POP AND PLAY WITH TIM DUNCAN......simple as that.... lebron had the same issues in cleveland.

you can't win a "ring" with bad players surrounding you. as much as they act like jordan won 6 rings by himself, he didnt! and him and pippen had A LOT to say about getting tony k.

Oh and what excuses do you think the people who HATE the heat will have tonight IF they win?

Refs? .... David Stern wants the heat to win? ....... He wants a "big market" team to win? The excuses will be Great to hear!

Bulls had 3-4 rings when they got Kukoc right?

CP3 is going to be a FA, he has teams to choose from. Hes also playing next to a top 20 PF, a future HOFer in Big Shot, 6th man of the year IMO , Grant Hill, the team wasnt crappy. He has tons of talent around him

I call it how i see it......

Refs helped the Heat last season.......

This season theyve earned the spot theyre in. The refs know they couldnt get away with it again..... they have to keep it on the DL.

I have zero complaints about anything that has happened this season.

Spurs 1 rebound or 1 free throw away from the title..... so sad......

For once.... i cant hate on Lebron.... he made the most of the opportunity given to him and finally earned a championship. Refs didnt hand it to him.... no teams laid down for him..... he faced formidable opponents on their A game and he managed to be the last man standing. Cant do anything but give him props.

For once.... i cant hate on Lebron.... he made the most of the opportunity given to him and finally earned a championship. Refs didnt hand it to him.... no teams laid down for him..... he faced formidable opponents on their A game and he managed to be the last man standing. Cant do anything but give him props.
    respect.

Great game, Spurs just ran out of gas. you could tell they were borderline exhausted close to collapsing. Give credit to King James, what a performance. Game 7, 37 points, shooting Js with authority. Proved all the doubters wrong.

Classy moves by all players at the end to shake hands and hug. good for the NBA.

    Till next year .....................................

I would never refer to anyone as "King" ___________.

I was hoping the Spurs were going to pull it off, but I had a feeling that after they gave up game 6, they wouldn't bounce back in number 7.
