    I did the same.

There's some good game on tonight though!

What you think about the Harden deal for both teams?

OKC made out like bandits. Houston, once again, overpays drastically for a guard. I think you ended up being right, AGAIN, didnt you say Harden would leave? I gotta stop arguing with you HAHAHA

    Lets look at it logically:
Harden, career 12ppg, 1 breakout season at 16ppg. 1 Epic disappearing act in the NBA Finals, barely played in the Olympics, had a mediocre preseason. Is he replaceable? ABSOLUTELY.

Now, lets look at what they got in return in OKC. YOu know WITH harden, they got beat last season. They go out an Draft PJ3, good pickup. Eric Maynor is back who they missed all last season. They trade Harden who was seeking a 15 million a year contract, for KMART who averages 18ppg, Lamb who is a good young player (lead the team in scoring in summer league), and 3 DRAFT PICKS. OKC did the right thing.

Harden will be like a ton of previous 6th men, forgotten, good player no doubt, but not a superstar.

For arguments sake, Hawks got Lou Williams, 6th man runner up, for HALF of hardens contract price. Harden is overvalued IMO, and his game is exposed, miami shut him down easily.

I honestly thought he would take less money and stick around. I think he thought OKC would eventually cave, OKC called his bluff. Id like to say i would have taken 55 million in OKC vs 80 million in Houston.

But, i guess thats just not true

Yea I got you again on this one, lol. Yea I knew he would be gone. I think OKC got the better deal, but I think harden will average between 22-26 ppg and be irreverent in playoff basketball talk. But I think he's got the potential to be what he want to be.... I starter and a star in this league. They play tonight, I'm interested to see how he looks. They come here friday too, If i didn't already buy clipper tickets I would prob go to see it in person.

BTW. Lamb will become a star in this league.

Agreed. 55.5 million over 4 years is A LOT different then 80 million over 5 years.....

Let me ask you this too. How much have you watched the lakers "new team" so far? And what is your assessment of them?
BTW..... they play damian lillard and the trailblazers today. lets see how nash's defense is tonight, lol.
