I've watched every episode since the beginning (not reran, either) myself. And I enjoy it. But I don't make personal connections with the characters and hope that so-and-so stays with so-and-so or hope someone dies or lives or whatever.

So my gut was right about that guy they caught, When Carl went in the barn the guy was telling him he will take him and everyone to his group, I have a feeling that group will find the farm soon and 30+ against them will not be good. I wonder how the character of Carl will deal with being the reason Dale is dead.

I am also curious to see what they make of the whole "zombification" even when they aren't bitten. Perhaps it has something to do with what Kenner said? Also, I seem to remember from the preview of this season, that Darryl was on his motorcycle. I assume they have to leave the farm, and with Dale's death, he becomes more distant, and leaves to search for Meryle?

I'm getting the impression that Jenner told him that everyone has it and when they die they come back as zombies unless a brain injury kills them. I don't think being bitten has anything more to do with it other than in gives you a fever that will eventually kill you, thus making you a zombie, the bite itself doesn't neccessarily turn you.

What Jenner explained makes alot of sense, so everyone who dies turns to a walker which is why also when they shot Dale, they shot him in the head.

I think Rick shot them both in the head after they were dead.
I do believe you are right. Also, your theory does make sense. Perhaps its latent, until death. Its an airborne disease. Transmission must not be through bodily fluids, as was shown when Rick shot the walker through the other walkers head. He must have gotten walker blood in his mouth while yelling, as well as on his cut he gave himself. That's the only real option I think would be feasible.
They were both shot in the head. Remember Rick putting a third bullet into the fat one even though he already had 2 in the chest.

Fuckin' mini seasons. Finally caught up after moving into a house. If it was airborne, most of the people on the show would have caught it.
I hate how they broke up the second season in 2 parts. I'm also not looking forward to waiting til probably fall for the new season.
And who is Jenner? IMDB doesn't have that name.
I am still learning all the names.
