I bought it last night. Its different from the other UnderGrounds slightly, but I just wish I didnt have to work as hard to get mods in the game. Great game nonetheless to pass the time.
I bought the black edition from Best Buy, and they had to pull it out of the back room. The videos are sweet, and the story line is well done. Worth every penny in replay value and quality. Plus, there's less ricey cars and more exotics in it this time.
Really? I saw the commercial, and it had the 05 mustang with the typical double decker aluminum wing on it, so figured it was just as ricey. I'm probably going to try it out anyways... i always do.
i dont think its another underground series, from what i heard, it was like NFS Hot persuit 2, just allowed you to upgrade cars.
ive got it in the car..just gotta play it when i get home.
its not an underground series the underground series is fucking horrible.

agreed. they played it smart. you can drive around like underground 2 if you wish, or you can just choose your races from a map like hot persuit 2. the cars are higher end for the most part. so far ive got...5..6 cars i forget, but ive only paid for one, i won all the others. great game.
the audio absolutely FLOORS ME. you can hear the difference betweent he cars, you can hear the turbo spool up, you can heard the difference when you upgrade parts. its absolutly amazing. i got bored and hooked it up to surround sound, amazing, sounds like you're in the car.
buy it, but only on the 360. If you have to get it for regular, buy the black edition, you'll thank me. Almost twice as many tracks and tons more cars/mods

What's the difference between the Black Edition and the Regular? Just the cars and mods or what? I want the game, but I never heard of a Black Edition, if it's better than the regular, then I want that one of course.

oh yeah. you're barely in it. cant judge it yet. you've just gotten your feet wet. the police chases start to get nasty and take forever to complete, bounty milestones are up to 600,000 to complete. its tough. and the races are gettin harder as well.
the black edition has a lot more cars and a lot more tracks, it extends the game and gives you more choices for mods

i'm kinda relieved to know its getting harder. i started playing two days ago and i'm up to 35% done. i love the police chases also. but at 35% its still definitely not hard. i'm definitely no video game pro and i'm kickin ass, not having to retry any of them at all...
but yeah, great game, i recommend it. much better than NFSU2.

You'll stop loving the chases when you hit about 50-60% LOL!! When they start sending 2 SUV's at you head on and roadblocks every 2 blocks, spike strips, choppers and 10 pursuit cars... ALL AT ONCE!! I havent let my heat level get to 5 yet, 5 is when they send the cops in C6 Vettes. Anybody been chased by the Vettes yet?
yea no doubt its a great game. story line is pretty good. but dont do like i did and get greedy with 1 or 2 cars, becuz both got impounded and now i have to restart a career haha.
The steering feels weird to me... maybe it's just the way my buddy has it set up but it felt really really sloppy... which is kind of a far car from the last installment of underground.
Is there a pursuit mode for two players or, are the cops involved only in single player mode?

trust me... you dont want the vettes..you dont. im stuck on the game. i decided to stop..put it down. and give it a break... i have to get so much bounty, plus complete a milestone, its impossible to not get a level 5, and then the kicker is you have to loose it.

man, i didnt realize u can get ur car impounded and game over i had a evo and a supra and sold both of them to get the Aston MArtin, then i got my bounty up to level 5, lets just say it where chases are no fun anymore those po po vettes bust ass, in the end i had no money to pay cuz the new car and already used all my markers and i got it taken up. yea the vettes are no joke
I havent bought a new car since the first car in the game, i just kept getting the blacklist rival's pink slips and selling their cars and racking up money. I think you're doing something wrong, ive got well over 400k i think and 6 cars. Personally my gallardo right now is my fastest and best handling car.

Pick the right bonus marker when you beat a rival. My best car right now is the Benz SL500, Speed/Acc./and Handling are all maxed out. Thing that sucks now is that's also my highest bounty car as well. I took it out one time and all I did was took out a stop sign and, boom, got in a 9 car chase within seconds. Needless to say, I use that one solely for building up bounty. I got lucky and got the markers for the Gallardo, Viper, C6 Vette and a couple others that I sold off for the cash so I have 3 nice reserve cars for races. I havent been doing too bad with my chases, I've been in just over 100 so far and only got busted on maybe 8 of them. I'm pretty sure 8-10 of them were well over 15 minutes too.how the fuck do u get their pink slips?
