ps3 is said to be better, am in all means in better. Its going to be put out around 6 months after XBOX 360 so sony will see what XBOX does wrong and they will make sure its not wrong with the PS3. Graphics wise, it will probably be a little better, but thats just because PS3 will also look at their chip and see if they can improve any before their system comes out.
