I don't think it's right for athletes to use steroids, but it's not as big of a deal as the media makes it out to be. Without the Bonds/Sosa/McGwire "era," baseball would've never picked back up the way it did. Those guys gained tons of ticket sales and publicity on tv. I agree with McGwire about the league not doing tests for steroids at the time. I would've probably used them too for quick recovery if I knew there would be no tests.
