Here is probably one of the greatest intro's ever by Dj Odi from Skillz do Matter
    http://goldenerajungle.net/mixes/odi...o_matter_a.mp3

I cant believe I forgot Roni Size, so here is step to the rythm made out of brownpaper
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwI0gbGEyuI

here is the remix by Aphrodite
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwI0gbGEyuI

This is by far one of my most favorite songs to the day

I remember every single event listed in this thread and every club. Oh dear... those are some memories there. I spent so much time at Nike, Pyramid, West End Warehouse, etc in 99-00. I was actually at the first party ever at the Tabernacle back in 97. It wasn't all dnb though, I literally took a nap during Bad Boy Bill's set. lol.

As for the Vault, I remember one night up there, I think it may have been when Shy FX played... I can't remember... but some asshat threw a brick through the window of one of the shops next door. Who had Wednesday nights? I think it was the club over off of Amsterdam Drive near Piedmont Park. I know I saw DJ Funk there, that was interesting.

And yes, dubstep is really big right now. We still have a pretty active scene here in Atlanta. Unfortunately, we don't have Evol Intent multiple times a month anymore but it's still a good scene.

I actually started in about 93 but I was a youngin and didn't live in Atlanta. I was in SC and the big thing to do back then was go to the various Beyond parties in Greensboro, NC and there was a nice series of actual warehouse parties in Augusta. I was most active about 97 to 2001 as well. Got a car and a little $$ from work and just couldn't help myself.

I used to spin a little and still have all of my favorite old DnB on vinyl at home.

That was definately the thing to do was travel to parties. Im from Augusta and went to all of the parties there. There was even a party inside the old Regency mall one year and Odi was the headliner. He is still my favorite scratch artist

Was it Aphrodite? I know it was someone old school. I can't imagine I would have been outside much when Shy FX was playing but I do remember seeing him at the Vault around that time. I could totally see myself out in the lot chatting with people during Aphrodite though

How can you not find LTJ Bukem? I can buy his stuff on record or cd pretty much instantly. It's not hard to find unless you're looking for something really rare and old. What are you looking for that is hard to find?

Bukem was never really my thing though I have seen him live quite a few times years and years ago.

I'm relatively new to dnb, and I had never heard of any of the artists mentioned. My only exposure to dnb was from a digital radio station on line.

    BBC 1xtra

    So my current favorites are:

    Blame
    Chase & Status
    High Contrast
    Dead Mau5
    Mistabishi
    Camo & Crooked

Will work for food, car parts, or three stripe apparel. And not necessarily in that oder.
