Here is how it looks:
If Green Bay wins next week, they clinch a wild card. They play at Pittsburgh. They should win it, but if not and the Falcons lose, they still clinch a spot. They are currently 3 games ahead of Atlanta with 3 games left.
Now on to the second (and final) WC spot. Philadelphia and Dallas are fighting for 1st place in their division. Philadelphia is at 3 games ahead of Atlanta now and Dallas is 2 games ahead. If Dallas wins against New Orleans next week (which they may not do), they will knock Atlanta out whether or not Atlanta wins.
Basically, if Dallas and Green Bay wins next week, they are both in WC spots. Even if Atlanta wins.
If Dallas loses and Atlanta wins, Dallas will hold a 1 game lead over the Falcons going into the next-to-last weekend where Dallas plays Washington and Atlanta plays Buffalo.
Again, Dallas has to lose out and Atlanta win out for Atlanta to have a chance to make WC. Also, if Dallas loses out and Atlanta loses 1 game, they need for the NY Giants to lose 2 for them to make it.
Too many unlikely scenarios for this to happen. Later, QD.
