    ok im new to the online gaming and cant figure out how to register so i can start killing people instead of just playing the campaign mode in cod4 im using the ps3 system so any help would be rewarded with reps

    On the PS3 there should be an icon for "Account Management" or something like that. Create a username and password, fill in some info like b-day, gender etc. and you are done. Then just sign in with that username to go online and play. Games will auto prompt you for this info when you click on online multi player game. I have mine set up with the password saved so it just takes one click.

    BTW your username will be the name displayed when you go online. So I would not use your own name unless you really want to....
