Only certain media types are supported by the 360..

Make sure you turn off your Windows Software Firewall or the 360 might not see it..

Also make sure you have the latest version of WMP..

Finally, you'll need to allow the media to be shared in WMP to the 360.. under sharing you should see the 360 and then click allow. there are guides out there just google.
