January I think. Early next year though for sure. It will be epic. If it is better then this godless endeavor then I will cream my pants.

Not sure if what I consider Hardrock/Metal is the same as you all do, but....

If you want some metal thats not all over Hot Topic's for sale rack, check out Kylesa, Baroness, Boris, Veracrash, Torche, Truckfighters, Dozer, 5ive, Farflung, 35007.

Most of these bands lean towards the more experimental side of metal, so its more noise, less homoerotic tendencies. Louder music, looser jeans. More guitar effects, less screaming like the singer is emptying out a full taco bell grande combo

What do you have already? I assume you've played out your tool, disturbed, slipknot, system of a down....If you are feeling emo I suggest some goth metal from HIM or Marilyn Manson. Can't go wrong with Static-X (Played 8 encores at masquerade a couple years ago). Blood Simple is good...leans towards the metal spectrum. Atlanta boys, Sevendust can blow it out live. I've seen them all and they can all represent. Hardcore is gay; however, I will always have a place in my heart for ICP (I know they are horrorcore, not hardcore).

This may not be to your liking, but I'm just putting it out there as something different no one's mentioned yet. Lately I've really been digging a Swiss folk metal band called Eluveitie. They're actually playing down at the Masquerade tomorrow night. Might not be what you're looking for, but take a few minutes to listen to stuff on their myspace...
