I think they just patched it. I started it up about an hour ago, and there was an update to the game.
I think I've read reports of people who exploited the bug to get money, are being banned just like the pirates.

I tried but any farther up and the letters are cut off. I guess at a certain point the hood/top section takes over. I tried overlapping, but it looked weird.
