I'm starting to feel as if maybe Peerless Price wasn't the problem.... it seems as if NONE of our recievers (aside from Crumpler and Finneran) can catch worth a shit... so maybe it's not a player problem, maybe it's a recieving coach problem. Dez White is just doing HORRIBLE.... I've seen him open too many times for the deep ball and he just can't pull it in... Jenkins and Roddy can use there inexperience as an excuse, but Dez is a 6th year reciever I believe.. The ONLY positive I can see so far this year is that our o-line seems to be doing alot better...

Yea.... I feel the same way.... It pisses me off that these guys are getting paid millions to catch a ball and CANT DO IT.... FOCUS GOT DAMN IT.
i wouldn't look at the receivers too much. they had a couple drops, but not enough to write home about. the first half, the whole team was flat, which caused the drops. but the thing that scares me the most is our secondary. they either got smoked, or caused a penalty that gave NO yards. the injury to cash hurts, he was turnin out to be a damn good pick up. and like menationed above, the penalties on K/O and punt returns is killin us. when rossum gets them into the opposing teams territory, and a flag brings it 30 yards back, that kills momentum.
Our secondary is non existant aside from Deangelo Hall... And even him having to run soft zone as opposed to man on man like he did against the Eagles is hurting... I'm just scared whenever I see Morton or Rossum out there, they are both HORRIBLE at coverage... they'd much rather trip the guy, than play the pass. I'm just glad that our DL and LB corp has stayed healthy (aside from Hartwell).... cause thats all thats holding our D together right now. If we lose Kerney or Coleman it's gonna get REAL ugly against the run and the pass.
yeah, kerney, coleman, and brooking are three guys we cannot afford to lose. I would be more concerned about losing one of them than if we lost vick....
