Just rented it the other night since I dont play a whole lot of video games anymore. But I think Ill actually buy it today. Ive only played about 4 or 5 hours total but im gettin a little better haha. Just gotta get used to the maps.

I have a quick question for you COD fanatics.
The other day my girlfriend and I were watching some televsion, and a commercial for COD Modern Warfare 2 came on--I said "hmm, that game looks pretty cool." Apparently she thought that it would be a game that I'd consider buying.
Personally, I've never really had any interest to play this game.
This morning though, I woke up to a cheerful girlfriend that had gone and bought me some gifts, and what do you know? COD was one of them.
So, my question to you guys is this: Is it worth opening the game up and playing it? I could always return it and get myself another game, but if there is some epicness in it I wouldn't mind trying it out.

Its exactly the same thing with alot of extra stuff thrown into it.
Hard to make a already awesome game, even more awesome...but they did.
If you like shooter games....this is for you.... i would for sure say that you give it a shot.

Play single player for a bit to get used to the game and everything....maybe try some spec ops missions....then go to online....you will be hooked....promise.
you ain't lying. It's not even good for me anymore.
i away play the single play first before i do online stuff. gets you familiar with the maps a little and the gameplay. you can almost do the get on hardest right from th beginning

I'm looking at the box and it's a first person shooting game. Only game that I've played that was simlier to that was MGS.

One thing I was disappointed in was w/ the Light maching gun. I loved using it and im a dang pro w/ it got alot of 20+ kills and 7 deaths and so on... BUT dag nabit... f>ck.... I did all challenges on the light machine gun even the 250 headshots and got nothing spectacular for doing it. Wasnt it like in MW1 you did that and you would get a gold gun? I say they should of done that w/ part 2.
I've gotten a lot better IMO. Although my death count is still high I've been going on 7-11 killstreaks almost every game now.
I've been using the rpd which gives me a ton more rounds to use before I have to reload

AC130 is nasty but nothing beats the chopper gunner u can do so much work with it....but i think the coolest KS is the stealth bomber even though i dont use it.
im loving all the kids and xmas noobs,they are helping me pad my stats.........i went like 15 games in a row with top score,lol

I agree the Stealth Bomber is very cool but I don't feel like it's all that useful compared to some of the others..
stealth bomber is a waste of dam missles.. but i have gotten 4 kills with it once.. but its a waste of a perk.. i hate it...lol
