A:IMO nos is like steroids and giving steroids to a grandma doesnt sound all that good to me!
My best plan for action for leveling are 2 things..
1. Play groundwars with at least 4 friends who you are GOOD friends with so you can communicate well. Make sure you guys have a good gameplan for the domination games.. and don't lose! Losing nets you 200 XP game bonus. winning, with a good 40 kills, im gotten a 5800 XP game bonus.
2. Use an Assault rifle all the way to 1000 kills pre prestige. Then use an SMG to 1000 kills, and then an LMG. Make sure you get the mastery of each too. Easy stuff. I went from level 1 prestige to 46 in 2 days.

MTDM, and ground war is what i play. nice tip for prestige, but i dont think illeven do prestige in this one. WaW ruined that for me. I could care less about a symbol.
I stayed at level 70 for a couple days, but it got really boring playing for no reward. I prestiged and I am more entertained. I am also trying out different guns this time around, too.

3rd person is,what it sounds like it.....the view is 3rd person instead of 1st,its pretty fun to me...but then again i played socom for long time on PS2.

sheeet, prestige gives you new titles, new XP achievements, AND an extra custom class slot, per every time you prestige.

I've been playing on PC through steam on my roommates comp... I just got my new core i7 in so I'm going to by my own copy of COD MW2 right after finals on the 15th... so far my set up was ACR with heartbeat and silencer and either dual magnums akimbo or the ranger akimbo bling. I'll update my user id for steam later.

yeah i would prestige at least once so you can unlock the new veteran titles and challenges. and a extra custom weapons slot.
yeah but there is a big difference from socom 3rd person and MW2 3rd person.
fyi socom just came out with the 1.60 patch yesterday and the coldfront DLC will be the 17th... soo ill probably be saying goodbye to MW2 for a while. when it all comes out.
your not really using the full potential of the i7 no game has been able to use all 8 cores.only 4

yea i know its different from socom but its just something different to play on cod,i havent liked any socom after the 2nd one either.
Socom 2 was the best online game imo,i played the shit out of that game....lol
socom 3 and 3 CA were much much better than 2 and confrontation is OMG so much better. after playing COD Socom is easy.

i hated when they went to 32 people,the 8v8 of socom1 and 2 felt perfect,as in getting ur team to work out plans and such.
i played socom3 and little bit of CA,i really hated em.
they still have 8v8 and 4v4 and even 16v16 that you hate. you do have more than one room to choose from.

yea i know u could do 8v8,but socom1&2 were designed for 8v8,just like socom 3 was designed for 16v16.
the maps are bigger and more open,and when u play the "small maps" they are boring and bland. And socom 1&2 maps were built around one game type which also made it better to me.
but ofcourse this is just my liking,different strokes for different folks.
still havent tried the ps3 socom yet.
