cant stand HC,everyone camps and since u can die from 1 bullet all it takes is someone spraying thier gun and hitting u once.

i stick to normal,less camping and have to make ur shots count more,imo.

i only played HC in COD4 though.

This. I couldn't stand regular TDM in COD4 but I noticed in this one people die pretty easy in regular TDM so I just stuck with it. I tried HC once but I was the only one on the map moving, I went 1 - 6 and left. Im too impatient to camp

Yeah, good luck with that... I am pretty much in the same boat as you are

I got the game on xmas eve, and it took me about 2-3 days to pass it, then some guy on here told me to pass it on veteran in order to have campaign 100% completed, and it was pretty much impossible for me lol this is the first-first person shooter type game that i've played so it'll be awhile before I beat it in veteran.

try passing it on harden (or whatever it is...) that's what Ive been doing, and it's harder so it'll boost your exp. up to prepare you for veteran.

with scavenger on you can put down one, pick up another and set one down again. i think each person can only spawn 2 claymores, if you try and drop a 3rd one down, it will blow up a random one while you lay the 3rd one down.

Just played two games today and totally annihilated with the handgun (the M9 I believe it's called).

I was trying to get the tactical knife since I rarely use the handguns except in an emergency of running out of ammo. So I had FMJ and Silencer and was 25 kills from getting the tactical (and obviously Akimbo). So I played two matches both randomly put me on Afghan. Within' those two games I acquired my knife using only the handgun and NOTHING else.

It's hard as hell but fun when the other team realizes the top player on the winning team only killed using a handgun.

TDM was always stale. you need something more of a purpose other than going around shooting anything that moves.

I played with my brother's account on PS3 around Christmas and was doing pretty well, usually running at least a 3:2 kill to death ratio in team deathmatch. I played a good bit of COD WAW online so I'm not new to the whole thing.

When I started playing on my 360 though, I got straight slaughtered. It's really damn difficult to get started in this game, which seems to revolve so much around perks and weapons attachments. In a game lobby I'm practically the only person below level 50, and at least half of people are prestiged at some level. I'm slowly moving up and holding a KD ratio of about 1.2, but it's a frustrating process until I unlock the useful stuff.

I've become convinced as a result of my experience that the 360 players are much better than the PS3 players. I'm going to read through this thread and see if I can put together some new ideas for good classes.

I'm magnus589 if you guys want to add me, mention you're from IA and maybe we can team up.

I agree TDM is getting stale...unfortunally. Then I start playing free for all to train on relying on myself, but boosters lurk in there. Or I do domination, but that shit can get frustrating with grenades and the spawn points.
