Default Rap lisenters tell me what you think

I'm not really into rap all that much, but for some reason this song caught my attention a lot. I love the beat of it and the singers sound pretty talented. I'm sure I will be told if they really are talented by some of you who listen to rap more often, but to me i really enjoy this.

PLEASE READ- For some reason the song ends at 2:40 sec, yet it keeps on going with no noise till the end.

Iv never heard of these guys, maybe some of you have.

Army has "been around" since the late 90s. Reason why I quoted "been around" is because they put out a record somewhere around 98-99 and did nothing until about 2003. They've done a few records since that point, most being mixtapes. It was supposed to be a group of all the bigger stars of the East coast, but it never panned out that much. It was also started by a group called Jedi Mind Tricks. This song came out a few years ago, as well.

There will probably be some folks on here who do like that as it is a semi-underground set up. Myself, I don't like it. It doesn't sound terrible, has a pretty good flow to it and it is more true to hip hop than what's been out for a long time. That I do like. I just don't care for the East coast sound.

All in all, good find for what's been posted lately. Later, QD.

but to me, rap is dead...solja boy, lil wayne and some of these new main stream rappers really make me hate rap now...the old school shit like tupac, biggie, OLD mobb deep and stuff like that is the shit
