Did anyone else reserve it yet? i reserved the special edition with the ODST controller at gamestop.. anyone else?

I'm not sure if I want to buy it or not yet. I'll probably just wait till it comes out and see if I like it by goin to a friends.
My box is broke right now too lol, so I need to fix that before I buy any new games.

When I have it plugged up completely it acts like the a/v cord isn't in and just stays black screen, no sound either. It still works, cause I managed to join a friends party while it was still black screen and talk using the mic, but that won't get me very far lol. I've tried a different tv, and a different cord. I called Microsoft and they said it'd be $100 to fix.

same shit happened to me mine has been like that since january... ive used the towel trick to fix it but eventually the screen goes back to the black screen within a matter of days... but once you pay the $100 they renew your warranty for like anothr 1 or 2... but i still havent got mine fixed....

yeah i had the same prob, and so did afsil80.. when i called they acted like i was crazy.. but for $99 flat, you cant beat it.. 14 days turn around too with them shipping me a box to ship it in..

Yeah, I've got the $100 but I procrastinate too much to call/order for them to send the box, haha.

i played like 4-5 levels of the single player so far. 4/5 of them were damn near exactly the same, just walking around streets with a bunch of buildings with 90% locked doors. If the whole single player is like this is gonna piss me off lol only one level out of the city so far. There is also no more dual wielding weapons either.

well you have firefight, which if you ever played Gears of war 2 i think it is you just get waves and waves of enemies till everyone dies. And then you have co op of the main campaign. Anyone else? i think thats it....

got damn this game is a lot harder than the others. Firefight is fun, although IDK wtf happened when I tried to play with Anti-V6 (btw i dont have my mic atm)

Also, the inclusion of H3 multi is awesome, especially since I never bought the map-packs so I couldn't play ranked.

Yea I tried to play with Anti-V6 in firefight, but was laggin like hell. Im sure the weather had something to do with it.

I actually went to gamestop at 10, the parking lot started to flood. The police and firemen told the store to shut down. So i went home with ODST at 11pm. Didn't dare to get online till after 12am...lol

there's a 2nd disc that is all the halo 3 online maps that are currently out plus a new map pack or something and basically is just halo 3 multi player.

ya firefight is a lot of fun, its like survival on RE4 if you ever played it. Pretty much you fight waves among waves of different guys. Each round they have a different attitude. first round they just run around shooting very little then the next round they start throwing grenades third round brutes with hammers and grunts with power rods haha. its craziness when you run out of ammo.
