    mase was actually hard before he signed to bad-boy, he was known as murda mase and flooded the NY mixtape scene. The reason why he turned pastor is because he was being audited by the irs, and dropped his deal on badboy for censorship reasons and he recently signed a deal to g-unit

    That's actually not true, XLR8. He left NY because he was fuccin around with a chick of another dude that found out. He ran to Atlanta and stayed until he thought the coast would be clear. I believe it was a couple days after he got back, people found out and one of Mase's boys got got. The IRS story was just one for the public to hear. And he also really wasn't that hard even as Murda Mase. Later, QD.
