    Use this site, once you get it open clean the laser with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol. Fixing your PS2

    The main problem is that game designers are pushing the limits of the PS2's capabilities. I've read up on articles about this, because mine started that way, and then it just quit all together. The PS2 eventually burns itself up trying to keep up with the games the companies are producing.

    My PS2 has long been in a trash heap somewhere in about 100 pieces, and an XBOX replaced it.

    clean the ps2 lense :-)

    and btw, don't get the new ps2 flat shit cause it overheats to much
