I mean if you really look at it, a lot of our QB's at USC don't really ever start to play but for 1 or 2 season at most, usually start as a junior because they are behind another QB. Plus, Pete Caroll has a great system, so shouldn't really be a problem. Just like any team, don't turn the ball over.
But those 1 or 2 year starters usually have 1 or 2 years behind another QB to learn the system and pick up clean-up duty to get some real game experience. That sideline time and clean-up time is immeasurable and the exact reason why USC has consistently outstanding QB play.
