To further the list of better receivers
TJ Hooshminzada (I know its spelled wrong) - Great over the top speed and hands
Lee Evans_ Outstanding route runner and great hands
Antonio Bryant- game breaker in every sense
Chris Chambers- sure hands and good speed to go with it
Calvin Johnson- 2nd best set of hands in the NFL IMO. Rarely drops a ball when he gets a hand on it
Wes Welker- best route runner and hands in the NFL IMO. Also very good at getting open on broken plays.
thank you, roddy just need to stfu and play ballQuote:

You have to remember that the NFL is a business and Vick was always exciting to watch. Excitement puts people in the seats and has turning on their TV's. That equates to money, which brings me back to, the NFL is a business.Quote:

You bring up the fact that Vick brought the Falcons to the NFC Champ game, yet fail to mention that he led them to a losing season immediately after that.
well mentioning the losing seasons would be stating the obvious, my point was that vick is not a bad qb thats all. but you are correct about the whole excitement means dollars. i cant wait to see if ryan can lead us to back 2 back winning seasons.Quote:

Hines Ward - all around great WR. He blocks and gives great hits, good route runner and plays very physical. he is also highly rated, even at his age.
Brandon Marshall - becoming a widely known WR, good routes and speed. drops passes, but who doesn't.
Dwayne Bowe - good all around WR, puts up good stats past 2 years.
Jerricho Cotchery - good receiver who has been doing great past 3 years, last year downfall due to Farve.
Donald Driver - consistent WR for GB year in year out.
Marques Colston - good hands and routes. not top speed but good shifty moves to put CB and safety out of position. also has height and leaping ability. last year down season due to injury.
Laveranues Coles - aged but good route runner.
Some of you guys are too funny! Pro bowl receiver DOESN'T equal top ten in the league. I forget, did they start carrying 11 receivers on the pro bowl roster?
RW is def not worth the 8mil if thats what he is wanting i say go pick up soem 1 else no doubt!! It kind of pisses me off these nfl players wanting more money while there fans loose jobs and still pay to see them play.
el oh el, what a joke. has one good yr and thinks he's the coolest thing since sliced bread.
the fact that you think some of those recievers are better then roddy make me question your IQ level.Quote:

All i say is that these are all good receivers. just gotta play n see what happens. 2 good years doesn't make a top 10 receiver. remember there are a lot of receivers who have fallen after 2 good seasons.
but if you had me choose my top 10 receivers, here it is
1)Randy Moss
2)Larry Fitzgerld
3)Reggie Wayne
4)Anquan Boldin
5)Terrel Owens
6)Hines Ward
7)Andre Johnson
8)Steve Smith (Carolina)
9)T.J. Houshmandzadeh
10)Calvin Johnson
I feel its about how much impact you have not just your catches, tds, and yards
yea i know stats arent everything, im just putting it out thereQuote:

so roddy is now the 2nd highest paid receiver. dont see why.

thats where you are wrong my friend, if a QB can run a 80 yard TD, and throw for a TD, then you have a playmaker at the QB position. dude you cant sit here and tell me that peyton or brees wouldnt love to have athletic ability like that. vick is a QB for a reason, because he is good at it. if he was better at any other position then thats what he would have been drafted as. thats all some QB's can do is throw, but vick can do both.Quote:
