i played it for a while now and eventually the races get to hard and the computer drivers just crash into you to make you fail, its kind of lame when you get to that point

I picked it up...pretty awesome so far. Just started yesterday and played a bit today. I've got a white 240SX and a 135i painted like the 135tii.

I'm really enjoying the game.

I've got a BMW 135i made to look like the 135tii, a black BMW e36 M3 for drifting, a Lotus Elise for precision driving and an Aston Martin DB9 in GT1 Class guise for plain old brute force racing.

Does anyone think theres a huge gap between tier 2 and 3? It was really easy for the first two tiers, then got super hard all of a sudden for me lol

Definitely dude...I was able to get all stars with no issues, but now the races are actually really challenging.

I got the game, didnt really like it much, till I got the nissan GT-R with works conversion. After that, it gets pretty sick. I have almost beaten all the races, I have a GT-R works conversion, a stock Aston-Martin DB-9 and a Civic. I really do miss the more in-depth customization of underground 1 and 2, even if you could turn your car into a lowrider ricer with hydraulics. I also miss the free-roaming aspect of the game where you could just drive around without racing.

Played the demo, the controls threw me off. Throttle on R2 and R3 only(Ps3)? I like how it feels real within the interior. The Viper is hella torquey and the game feels realistic but not as simulative as GT5. If they got co-op drag racing online for the Ps3 on GT5; that is gonna be off the pitbull chain. :goodjob:

i picked it up a couple weeks ago and it took a little while but ive really gotten into it. Since GT5 is taking its sweet time to come out it was the closest i could come for the time being. I really like the incockpit view but if you crash a lot its hard to see out of the glass. The drifting to me is actually pretty enjoyable. For once the 350/370z motor sounds like its supposed to and not like a honda civic. Like others have said though the customization isnt were it should be.

Has anyone figured out how to paint wheels? or do like a dual paint scheme ie: black roof/truck/hood and other color body?

I don't think they included wheel painting in this game. I know the Volk TE37s are available in bronze, white, and black with a red lip so with all that, I doubt wheel painting would've been put in. It's sort of annoying, but oh well.

I love the game. I just mastered all corners yesterday haha...that Karussell corner on the Nurburgring was killing me. Are you on PS3 or XBOX? I'm on PS3...same name as my screen name, VooDooXII.

I'm in Tier 4 and I'm getting fuckin' HANDLED! I was breezin' past guys in the GT-R and now I'm barely keeping up with the pack with the Viper.

I got the Lambo, but the mofo is too loose.

The R8 handles nice for tier 4, very forgiving but not necessarily the fastest thing out there.
