    mine wont play games at all , any sugestions? can it be fixed?

    im sorry but if a noob posted this he would get flamed...lol

    same thing happened to my xbox, it wouldnt let me play games, i just took it apart and cleaned it.

    and y would a noob get flamed would be because how the fuck are we supposed to know if its fixable or not, could be sooo many thing wrong with it lol.

    but yeah man i would just take it appart and clean it, the lens too. and check for any burns on wires or circuit.

    powers on, just won't play games from UMD, memory card if hacked or both? if you have custom firmware, possible that you toggled some of the advanced settings? If you have M33 firmware, ensure the following: both clock speeds are set to the fastest setting (333/166), USB Device - Memory Stick and UMD ISO Mode - M33 Driver

    If the UMD function is broken, you can still install custom firmware to play games off of the memory card.

    unless it needs a good cleaning as mentioned above, it's time to go custom firmware and download your own games. used 1000's are fairly cheap these days too though.
