Maybe because you didn't connect it at your house, lol. Or maybe you don't have a router at your house. You're going to have to provide us with more information.
um i have a modem and i just hook it up to da wall and my friend has a modem at his house and it works mine does not work
plug in your enternat cable in the xbox / unplug your modem power for 30 second./ plug power back in/ wait for power/recieve/send/online *lights on modem to stop blinking. wait 1 more minute./ then go on xbox *test xbox live connection*.
should work. HOPE THAT HELP.
will have to do same thing if you want to connect back to PC desktop.
