    I have a samsung 120 gig
    1004 philliphs dvd drive better than the samsung it plays anything i put in it
    Ide 100 cable so every thing loads twice as fast
    x3 modchip with on and off chip & fake bios setup so i still can play xboxlive
    12 volt plug to the fan to keep it cooler in the car.

    does the high density cable make that big of a deference?

    BTW all i have in mine...
    Maxtor 100gig 7200rpm 8Mb
    the famous Samsung DVD drive
    new pc fan
    dual soft modded ... but i want a chip so i dont have to deal with all the BS
    turn on with eject button and get MS dashboard (for XBL but 9/10 times we play with KAI)
    turn on with power button and get modded dashboard
