Default Red Faction: Guerilla Great Reviews!

i guess im gonna make some trades...and get it!! Anyone else getting it?

Game Informer - 9/10 - "Red Faction: Guerrilla approaches destruction in a different way. In this experience, players do not tunnel through the underbelly of Mars. In fact, they can't upturn one piece of dirt. The ability to dig holes is replaced with the power to destroy buildings. The technology behind this ability is far beyond anything you've seen in a game before; it's one of this generation's most significant technological breakthroughs. None of the chaos is scripted. When a building falls, a cloud of smoke doesn't mask its collapse. A rocket blast to a wall doesn't create the same hole each time."

Gameplayer - 9/10 - "We can't talk highly enough about the quality of the world destruction in Red Faction: Guerrilla and the fact that Volition has got it all working in a sandbox, unscripted environment with explosions going off everywhere with rarely a frame-rate hitch at all is worth a standing ovation from any discerning gamer."

GameFocus - 9.2/10 - "It's been seven long years since the last Red Faction game was released. Back in 2001, Red Faction debuted on the Playstation 2. It utilized the then-new Geo Mod technology, its selling point being real-time terrain deformation. In other words, just about everything in the game could be blown up. Red Faction and its sequel, Red Faction II took a decidedly revolutionary approach to the first person shooter. Instead of forcing gamers into a linear level structure, Red Faction allowed the user to forge their own path."

GamePro - 5/5 - "Some games want to engulf you in an intricate story full of plot twists and deep character development, while feeding you action at a slow burn. Other games want you to work to make progress, presenting puzzles and conundrums that require gamers to think a great deal before they act. Red Faction: Guerrilla does neither of these, instead throwing you straight into the action from the start and not letting go until its explosive conclusion."

MSXbox - 9.5/10 - "THQ and Volition have truly outdone themselves with Red Faction: Guerrilla. They have effectively "mined" the eight-year-old franchise and struck gaming gold, combining several recent yet tried–and-true gameplay mechanics with a spectacular physics engine, top-notch production values and a great story, resulting in a worthy (and easily the best ) sequel to the franchise as well as a highly original product in its own right."
