Mayweather vs Marquez to fight September 19
After k.o Ricky "The Hitman" Hatton December of 07 Floyd announces his return just hours before the Hatton/Pacquiao fight in vegas. He chose #2 ranked pound for pound Juan Manuel "Dinamita" Marquez as his opponent in a fight scheduled for July 18. They have yet to announce at what weight will the fight take place.

I have mixed feelings about Mayweathers return, im glad to see him fight again because he so talented and has a big mouth that he uses to bring the casual sports fan to watch his boxing fight and maybe see him get knocked the f*** out but were still waiting on that because of his very defensive style. What i dont like about Mayweather is that he cherry picks his opponents, How's he cherry picking his opponents if he's fighting the p4p #2 guy you ask. Mayweathers last fight was at welterweight (147) why are you picking a guy that his last fight was at 135 and has fought there twice only, when you refuse to fight Mosely, Cotto, P.will ect that campaign in 147 (Williams has said that he'll drop weight to fight Mayweather) Anyway should Mayweather get past Marquez he will most likely fight Pacquiao in a fight for the ages, Theres also talk about Pacquiao fighting Cotto in a catchweight fight. Boxing is looking very interesting right about now.......
