Idk, they match up decently. JJ matches up physically with lebron decently so JJ should be able to slow him down a bit. Josh smith too. Mo williams gonna cause problems on bibby. Marvin and horford should have big games i think

IDK, putting Johnson on Lebron is very risky, he will most def be in foul trouble if that happens. I see Cavs winning in 4 or 5 games. Mo Williams will be the most important player, Bibby is a very suspect defender.
hmm....cavs in 6. i want hawks to play them in 7 games but i think cavs are too much in hand.
Hawks in 7 for the upset![]()
I see JJ guarding Lebron and Josh Smith guarding Mo williams. Horford on Z.

Well, gonna lose this one, but I like what I see. Josh and bibby played well. JJ played alright. Just need to get Horford going better. Just need to play smarter and D Lebron a bit better
97 DX Civic w/ H22 FS
lol at D lebron a bit better. sorry but the hawks have no one that can guard lebron except maybe Josh Smith or joe johnson but they will pick up tons of fouls if they are guarding bron.

Besides the turnovers, I really don't think the Hawks played all that badly. Smith and Bibby both had good games, but Johnson and Horford need to get it going if they want to win. As far as guarding Lebron goes... lol that'd be nice.
Not to mention the Cavs 3s wont fall like that every night

Hawks are getting absolutely murked at the half. Sucks, but I don't see them coming back from this, even when they come home. Oh well, good season and hopefully they pick up some good guys in the draft or make some trades.
The Hawks are looking like they are going to get broomed out of the playoffs. Home court is not going to help them win. Clevland is getting what they want, where they want, Wally, Delonte West and the bench are killng the Hawks, Josh Smith needs to learn to play on and stop crying or he is never going to maximze his potential.
After watching the first 2 games, the Hawks better hope the NBA lets them play 4 games and not just call it after 3.
This is the year that Cleveland finally breaks the championship curse.
told ya this is gonna be a sweep. whoever has tickets to monday nights game might as well bring some broomsticks.

the saga continues....
What they need to do is start playing physical, yeah Josh blocks shot but why hasn't he tried to jump with Lebron since he got dunked in Game 2, the Hawks are far too soft to even win a game

Hawks need to play the 2nd and 3rd string players from the start, seems like they have more heart and desire to win

this series is pointless. Josh Smith can only block shots, but has no offensive skills besides dunking. Hawks are to soft and dont really have a big man to really open up the few shooters they have

Hawks offense is 1 on 1 basketball and that is why they are getting beaten by at least 15 points in their losses
2006 Evo IX - Bolt ons
not to mention they have won only 1 road playoff game since 1997

You would think that, but the team as whole are intimidated by the Cavs. One thing I like about the Cavs is that when they have you down they continue step on you and don't allow you to get back in the game like the Lakers are so fond of doing. Back to your point, the Hawks will be swept, they are playing with "no heart".Originally Posted by FlipKing

The problem with the Hawks is that they can't draft for nothing. They have struggled for years and have nothing to show for it. Why in the world is Sheldon Williams drafted in the top 10 and now he can't get off the Kings bench, why would you draft Marvin Williams #2 when you could have drafted Chris Paul or Deron Williams, and you make a trade to bring in a no defense point guard who can only shoot the 3-ball, Billy Knight is the main reason the Hawks are looking at a sweep.
It doesn't matter if the Hawks have "heart" or not.... they are an inferior team in every single aspect compared to the Cavs. The Cavs KNOW they are the better team, PLAY like they are the better team, and win accordingly.
All the Hawks need is someone like a Chris Bosh or Amare to come in and provide a real low post option. Not a Josh Smith(no game other than dunking) or Al Horford(will not command a double team), but someone who will make use of all the shooters the Hawks have
hawks suck!!! cavs all the way!!

WOW that crazy.......I was thinking the same thing......Maybe the Falcons, they have a very small chance to do somethingOriginally Posted by hondakid2
Falcons are 1 year of good off-season away. If they can use free agency and the draft next year to solidify their O line and LB's, then bring in 1 or 2 more receivers that can actually be counted on the catch the difficult pass they will be ready for a SB run. I dont know if they will win it, but they will make the run.
There are only 2 AFC teams that are really just better than the Falcons. The Pats will always be better with Tom Brady at the helm, then you ahve the Steelers because of that efficient offense and the nasty defense. The Ravens are on par with the Falcons, but they really need to upgrade their receiving corps before I can really say they are better.
The NFC has 3 teams that are just better. The Eagles are just a damn good team. They lost a little on defense this off-season, but they gained more than they lost on the offensive side. At the very least they are just as good this year as they were last year. The Giants are solid everywhere. Nicks will pick up most of the slack left by Burress so the offense will be fine. The defense will be better if they can stay healthy this year. The Cowboys just have too much talent, but can they show it on the field this year? If they can, I think they are the #2 team in the NFL behind the Pats.
