Default Which NCAA conference is the best this year.

I am a BIG-10 person, taboo here in SEC country i know but I want to see how honest people can be with themselves. I am not talking about 1 or 2 teams in a conference either I am talking about overall conference strength. I.E. how many teams from your conference are in the top 25.

With all of the additions to the ACC this year, its a hands down winner.

Agreed. I know I'll catch shit for this, but the addition of Boston College has been a very welcome change for me (being from Boston and all). I like the ACC mainly because of the increased competition over the Big East.

Best... ehh... there are a few that could be considered for that, but most competitive, SEC, no doubt.

I know that the big ten is all over the place as far as ranking but the entire conference beats up on each other. I mean as soon as one of them gets in the top 10 they get beat by another big ten team. I guess living in the south has blurred your vision. Don't get me wrong one team here and there from SEC and ACC are great but the overall is lacking. Texas will be number one by years end though.

ok the season is not yey over but if you look at the number of teams ranked in the conferences then you get Big 10 and SEC, each with 5. SEC has more schools because of the split division. If you calculate the average ranking of the schools then SEC is 8.2 and Big 10 is 16.2. This is not in favor of my loyalty but the season is not over. Also if you look at losses in the division, Big 10 obviously beats up on its self more than SEC. i.e. big 10 has more stronger teams.
