I bought my 32" flat panel a few years ago and it has only 1 HDMI input. It wasn't a big deal up until today because I only had a PS3 to hook up HDMI cable with. Today, I upgraded to Dish HD. Now I know I can just swap plugs whenever i want to use either item. The problem, though, is my HD receiver is a dual receiver providing reception to a child's bedroom. When I unhook the cable to the receiver to plug in the PS3, the reception goes out in his room.
I've read many unfavorable reviews on HDMI splitters, but only on splitters people were using to connect multiple TVs.
Could I use a splitter as a multi-HDMI input device for my TV? Something like the pic below?
If not, what can I do?
Thanks for your help. Later, QD.
