    this is really old news. Another forum I am on has a guy that used to work at a shop just outside NYC and they have fixed 4 or 5 vehicles that were butchered by UA. 1 of them actually caught on fire because they didnt use grommets or fuses on both sides of the firewall.

    bare wiring + no fuses + carpeting = fire.


    If I remember correctly, that guy paid over 200k for the work done on that car (more than 1 trip) and that was the quality of work he got.

    A buddy of mine works at Classic Collision in Duluth and he got a car that Unique "customized". He said it was some of the worst work he has seen. I don't understand how they get all these big name people to take their cars there and charge them ungodly amounts of money to do such a shitty job.

    I knew those guys sucked balls but this just puts the preverbial nail to the coffin. I agree with one of the post's about how big clients come in for rims and nothing else. Then when they leave they are all "Thanks man, Unique Whips made my shit happen!" As if UA is the only assholes out there able to mount a fucking wheel to a car. Hell, pay me 500 bucks + the cost of the wheels and tires and I'll mount that shit in half the time, better quality, and you don't have to sign a TV waiver either. Shits weaksauce FTML! Where are good fabricators ending up these days. I mean, we need more Billy Lanes in this world (well, more Billy Lane's that aren't in jail... lol)
