this is really old news. Another forum I am on has a guy that used to work at a shop just outside NYC and they have fixed 4 or 5 vehicles that were butchered by UA. 1 of them actually caught on fire because they didnt use grommets or fuses on both sides of the firewall.

bare wiring + no fuses + carpeting = fire.


If I remember correctly, that guy paid over 200k for the work done on that car (more than 1 trip) and that was the quality of work he got.
